Interesting fact: The jersey was worn one time, February 3, 2001 at the Mellon Arena in Pittsburgh, vs. the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks. It is a tribute to the jerseys worn by the 1966-1967 Calder Cup Champion Pittsburgh Hornets. The Calder Cup winning game over the Rochester Americans would be the last for the franchise, as it left town to make room for the Pittsburgh Penguins of the NHL.
