Mark Wotton's first period goal was all the offense
either team could muster, as the Bridgeport Sound
Tigers posted a 1-0 win against the Penguins on Sunday
afternoon.
Sunday marked the first time the Penguins had been
held without a goal since March 31 of 2006, when the
Binghamton Senators posted a 2-0 win. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton
had gone 61 games without being blanked before Sunday.
The loss was the second in a row for the Penguins,
and the third in the past six games for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.
Andrew Penner, making his first start since Februry
2, stopped 25 of 26 shots in the loss.
