OILERS RETURN POULIOT, SCHREMP, YOUNG

 

The Edmonton Oilers have reassigned center Marc-Antoine Pouliot and defensemen Tom Gilbert and Bryan Young to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the American Hockey League, it was announced on Monday. 

Pouliot, 21, has recorded 11 points (4+7) and a minus-2 rating in 46 games with the Oilers this season.  The Quebec City native has also put up 29 points (13+16) in 30 games with the Penguins.

Gilbert, 24, has six points (1+5) and a minus-1 rating in 12 games with Edmonton.  The rookie from Minneapolis, MN, also has 27 points (4+23) in 45 games with the Penguins.

Young, 20, was scoreless and minus-8 in 15 games with the Oilers.  He has also suited up for Stockton (ECHL), Milwaukee (AHL) and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton this season, recording one assist and a plus-1 rating in eight games with the Penguins.
