PENS TO HOLD BREAST CANCER AWARENESS NIGHT THIS SATURDAY

The Penguins will be aiding in the fight against breast cancer this Saturday night, October 21, when they host the Albany River Rats at 7:05pm at Wachovia Arena.

A portion of all tickets for the game sold through the Penguins front office will go to the American Cancer Society in an effort to help battle breast cancer. Additional donations will be accepted at the Penguins Fan Assistance Center, located behind section 108, during the Albany game.

Additionally, Penguins goaltender Andrew Penner, whose mother is a breast cancer survivor, will be using a special pink goaltender’s stick during warm-ups. That stick will be raffled off during the game, with all proceeds going to the American Cancer Society.

All Penguins fans attending the game are also encouraged to show their support in the battle against breast cancer by wearing pink to the game.

For more information on purchasing tickets to Saturday night’s game, please contact the Penguins at 570-208-7367.
