WALLACE REASSIGNED;
PATRICK RELEASED FROM PTO

 

The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins have reassigned right wing Tim Wallace to the Wheeling Nailers (ECHL), and have released defenseman Curtiss Patrick from his professional tryout agreement with the team. Patrick will return to Wheeling as well.

Wallace, 22, began the season with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, going scoreless while appearing in one game. He was assigned to Wheeling on October 18, and recorded two points (1+1) and eight penalty minutes in five games with the Nailers.

Wallace was recalled by Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on November 3, but did not dress for the Penguins’ contests against Philadelphia and Norfolk this past weekend. He was signed by Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on October 6, 2006.

Patrick, 26, was signed to a PTO by the Penguins on October 24, and appeared in two games with the club, recording one assist and a plus-1 rating.

Patrick began the season with the Nailers, going scoreless with a plus-1 rating in two games. He has recorded 14 points

(5+9) and 272 penalty minutes in 99 career games with the Nailers.

The Penguins begin a five-game road trip this Wednesday night when they take on the Hartford Wolf Pack in Connecticut. The Pens will then travel to Portland, Providence, Bridgeport and Philadelphia, before returning home on November 22 to face the Albany River Rats.
