PENGUINS RECALL BISSONNETTE

 

The Pittsburgh Penguins have reassigned defenseman Paul Bissonnette from the Wheeling Nailers to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, it was announced on Friday.

Bissonnette, 21, appeared in 13 games with the Nailers to begin the season, recording six points (1+5) and 20 penalty minutes.

The 6-3, 200 pound defenseman split last season between Wheeling and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, recording 10 points (3+7) in 14 games with the Nailers and six points (1+5) in 55 games with the Penguins.

Bissonnette was drafted by Pittsburgh in the fourth round (121st overall) in the 2003 Entry Draft.
